Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong

GENERAL SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR OF THE NKT-IKBU

Gen-la Dekyong is also the Resident Teacher and Special Teacher Training Programme Teacher at Manjushri KMC, the mother centre of modern Buddhism.

She has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 30 years, sincerly training under his guidance in all aspects of modern Buddhism. Gen-la is recognized as a fully qualified Buddhist Teacher of both Sutra and Tantra.

Gen-la Kelsang Jampa

DEPUTY SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR OF NKT-IKBU

Gen-la Jampa is also the Resident Teacher at IKRC Grand Canyon, US.

He has studied under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and taught internationally for many years and is greatly admired for his warm personality and clear, inspiring teachings.

Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab

NATIONAL SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR OF CANADA

Gen-la Khyenrab is also a retired General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU and the current Resident Teacher at Tara IKRC.

He is deeply respected throughout the Kadampa world as a sincere practitioner and powerful teacher.

Gen Kelsang Chögyan

OUR RESIDENT TEACHER

Gen Chögyan is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Montreal and Vajrayogini Buddhist Center in Vaudreuil. She has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for over 20 years. She constantly encourages us through her sincere example, her deep faith and her great ability to transform all situations into opportunities to progress along the path. Her joy, energy and enthusiasm inspire us to put Buddha’s teachings into practice and experience their many benefits in our daily life.

Several inspiring lay and ordained individuals, also students in the Teacher Training Program (TTP) or the Foundation Program (FP), teach at Kadampa Meditation Center in Montreal and adjacent areas. They all practice the Buddhist path and are dedicated volunteers within our community.
